On Facebook. But I have found that there are so many holes in what I want to share, how I want to share it. So my fickle self has returned to the blog. (Let's see how long it lasts).
Summer is upon us. We are busy. Addie turned 1. She is now officially walking more than crawling (I think). Nicole is Nicole. What can I say? She's charming and cute and fun and getting smarter and more demanding and driving me crazy. Haley finished her first year of school and in addition to her achievement awards won an award for only pulling her card (misbehaving) once the entire year. And the one time she pulled her card was for not putting her name on her paper (lame). Jeff finally finished his MBA. Yay! Perhaps now we will have a more normal life. Nah. What's normal anyway?
And I have been managing the masses--keeping everyone sane--myself included. Whether through a book or bike or my new found hobby, gardening. Our garden is growing and producing and I have never felt so grounded in my life. We have squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelon, strawberries, bell peppers, and hopefully some corn. So if you ever feel a little too nebulous and disconnected, I highly recommend planting a garden. Here is one of the fru-its of our labors:
